12th Street Baptist Church - Societal Conditions that must be met for people to attend Church services in person.
We will amend this document as the situation changes.

- *Before we invite people back, make a video with expectations on how to practice distancing.
a. Stay Home if:- You have any illness or symptoms: cough, headache, sore throat, nausea, vomiting or any kind of fever (100.4 or higher). If there is any question about your health, stay home!
- You are at high risk for complications.
- You have been around anyone in the past month who has the virus, or if you have had the virus in the past 30 days stay home.
- Practice hand washing and do not touch your face.
- MASKS MUST BE WORN UNTIL SEATED.
b. We will continue to stream our services and have Zoom children’s junior church and preschool church meetings. NO IN PERSON CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES OR NURSERY.
c. Adult Sunday School will have one class that meets in the gym and the class maintains social distancing
d. No hugging or handshaking.
e. Greeting at the door- the same person is the only one who opens the doors or touches the doors. For bathroom doors we will have clorox wipes clipped to the handles for people to wipe the handle when they are finished.
f. In the lobby and in the auditorium have plenty of hand sanitizer and lysol, and clorox wipes on hand to disinfect surfaces, or spray in the air when someone coughs or sneezes.
g. We will wipe all surfaces touched by anyone.
h. Deacons/ushers will seat people. Once someone is seated we will place a hymnal six feet away and no one will be seated any closer. No one will sit directly behind or in front of anyone else. Leave an empty row in between.
i. Dismissal will be formal back rows to leave first. Dismiss so that space is given to each person to leave and maintain social distancing.
j. Wednesday Bible Study resumes as long as social distancing continues. No Choir - singing in a confined space is not healthy.
k. Offering should be dropped in the wooden box in the back either before or after the service. Part of the benediction will be reminding people to drop their offering in the box.
l. No Coffee or donuts.

- Sunday School for children, children’s church and Nursery resume.
- All Adult Sunday School Classes resume.
- Men’s and Women’s Bible studies at Church may resume with social distancing.
- Choir Resumes.
- We will continue to stream the services.
- We will resume All Regular ministries for adults and children.
- Nursery will start back up.
- We will maintain safe distancing practices until CDC or state government give green light.
- Start taking up offering normal.
- Communion may resume.
